Butte College was named fourth in the nation in Wallethub’s 2021 list of affordable and quality community college campuses.
Wallethub, a personal finance website, compared more than 650 community colleges across the United States, using 19 key indicators for cost and quality of education. Indicators that helped propel Butte college into a top spot include its low in-state tuition and fees, favorable student to faculty ratio, and graduation rates.
Butte College is committed to delivering high quality education at affordable prices. Programs such as the Promise Scholarship, which provides up to two years of free tuition and fees for first-time, full-time college students, and Zero Textbook Cost courses have made Butte a leader in affordable college education.
