It Pays to Attend Butte College this Fall

Butte College announced they would provide new resources to encourage students to enroll or get re-started and registered for classes in Fall 2021.

All students who were actively enrolled in a minimum of 6 units during the time of disbursement would receive a $1,000 Dash CARES grant to assist with educational expenses. The grant would be provided to students in addition to any grants and scholarships they may have already received. More information about the Dash CARES grant is available online or by contacting our Support Center at 530-895-2511

Butte College also covered past outstanding balances for any students who withdrew following the COVID-19 declaration March 13, 2020.

“We wanted to reduce financial barriers and help students get re-started on their educational journeys,” said Peter Gitau, Butte College vice president for student services.

Additionally, the 7-day-to-pay policy was temporarily suspended for the Fall semester to help ease financial barriers to registering for classes.
